Beach Paintings

Goa is my go-to holiday destination when I want to slow down —-physically and mentally.
There is something in the air which just relaxes me completely.

That joy and tranquillity are reflected in my paintings of Goa.

The blue paintings which reflect the different moods of the sea, the rows of lounge chairs, the colourful beach umbrellas, the boats and fishing nets waiting for their next adventure, and the magical colours of the sky at sunset…. I try to capture all this in my canvases.

I want my seascapes to take you, my viewer, to the water’s edge and gaze into the distant horizon, I want you to feel the sand and water under your feet, to rest your weary mind on the inviting beach chairs and feel the joys of being at the beach, doing nothing but enjoying the colours, sights, sun and sounds of a lazy day.

All these canvases are painted with a palette knife to create different textures.

They are all bright, happy paintings!
