The clients wanted a single painting as a focal point in their living room. As they wanted something vibrant, sketches of my sun series led to this. The final painting was inspired by the Tirupati temple in South India.
This metal wall mural was specially commissioned for the foyer of an office building and is made with hand cut and hand embossed metal pieces nailed onto the wall. The clients were looking for one unique art piece; this one led to many more requests for the different parts of the same office.
Perfect for the long end of a corridor, this painting was asked for by the owners of a new home. They wanted something in earthy colours and a theme that would suit a home and compliment the particular space.
This metal wall installation in a company's leisure area on the terrace, uses an entire wall to create a sense of free flow. The metal work makes the most of the sunlight coming in and the way it glints in natural light is a sight to see.
This minimalistic lobby needed just a dash of colour and this large triptych provides that. Though there is sense of drama in the work, it blends in with the overall look of the lobby and is very relaxing.
This painting was commissioned for an office cabin to add colour and a sense of joy. Both are expressed through the unusual placement of canvases, the theme of hide and seek and earthy tones.
The brief for an eye-catching piece of art for the entrance of an office led to this beautiful metal waterscape. Each lotus, leaf, fish, bud, dragonfly is hand cut and hand embossed and therefore unique.
This magnificent board room gets the much-needed colour from the two panels of paintings done in shades of green. Depicting actual campus landscapes, they bring the beautiful outdoors indoors in a very unique way.
This large lotus pond painting was commissioned for an office entrance. In the calming yet pleasing colours of turquoise, blue and green, it is texture-rich and adds colour and vibrancy to the space.
For a new office building, this artwork motivates the employees who pass it every day and displays the corporate identity. Made up of a number of individual hand cut metal butterflies, the wall expresses joy and freedom as well as artfully wears the company logo.
Complimenting the mood and the decor of this conference room is this series of four paintings inspired by the ageless Hampi temples. Sobriety is uplifted by a tinge of joy, when earthy tones meet the vibrant colours on the clothes of the little girls playing hide and seek among the pillars.
This painting was commissioned for a prominent wall in a new home. It draws every eye to its mysterious corners and the little girls caught darting between the pillars. The clothes, the flowers and the jewellery suggest an everyday celebration of life and is a theme that never fades.
I had visited the office when it was being constructed and the client invited me to create a gallery of art based on a temple theme. Today, these two Hampi-inspired paintings grace the lobby. Each is rich with elements of light & shade, mysterious depths and timeless grandeour.
Full of light, mysterious corners and perspective, this painting was for the very farmhouse it depicts. Thick foliage, light falling on stone hidden depths with a little girl hiding in the shade... all go to make this painting full of the memories of a beloved family holiday home.
This vibrant canvas was created to bring warmth and colour to the living room. The majestic fort, the blazing colours and the broken-down fort walls lend depth to the painting and drama to the room. The hues inspired the decor of the room.
A set of canvases bringing alive the spirit of Goa through an image of its blue foamy waters and the fun placement of the pieces. The texture work and the perspective added to the joyful mood created by paintings.
