LIFE TRIUMPHS

135,000.00

This work is made of steel scrap I rummaged from factory floors. Each of these pieces was then arranged and welded together to form the base of my paintings, creating unique textures and shapes. They were then mounted on recycled wood.

Each artwork is painted with detailed botanical elements – children, flowers, leaves, trees and motifs inspired by Indian miniature paintings. As a child, I vividly recall painting flowers and leaves in intricate detail to practice art. It feels comforting to return to these familiar subjects.

I call the series LIFE TRIUMPHS because it shows that even in waste, in scrap, in what is discarded, life and beauty will always find a way! In many ways, it reflects my innocent, childlike belief in the victory of good over evil – in the enduring power of beauty and positivity.

I hope you enjoy the series, and I hope it brings you joy with its positive energy, bright colours and happy moods!
